Health Update

Hi everyone,

Some of you may have seen some recent posts on Instagram. In February I was diagnosed with stage 2 lobular breast cancer for the second time. I’m currently recovering from surgery, awaiting further results as unfortunately, it has been picked up in the lymph nodes.

I only found out as I sustained an injury to my other side during pole fit which led me to request a check up. Pole probably saved my life here as this cancer is almost undetectable with traditional methods. The good news if that it’s been caught early again and the cancer is treatable. the bad news is that it’s got me good this time and that means some time out from the live shows I had planned this spring until I know what treatment I’m going to need to go through.

The album will still release on 20th March digitally, here, on streaming and on Bandcamp. There will be a delay to the vinyl and CD which I’ll aim to coincide with an album launch at some point in Chatham at Poco Loco (Kent). It’s been tough going. Your support as always is hugely appreciated, especially at the moment.
