The Clown and the Cigarette Girl - Album Launch

On Wednesday my friend and fellow co-writer on forthcoming single ‘Stormy Daughter’, Kevin Brenann MP, released his album ‘The Clown and the Cigarette Girl’. I was honoured to be asked to be part of the band for the album launch at the 100 Club in London, sharing the stage alongside Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), producer Gerry Diver and Pete Flood (Bellowhead).

It’s my first time back on stage since the Picnic gigs at Warwick and Blenheim last year, and the first time back in a music venue since the start of the pandemic. It was great to be able to just be a musician again, and be part of something different. That Telecaster has never been giggled live before, and it felt good to be breaking out some electric textures!
